How do I change or cancel my order?

You may change or cancel your order by emailing the request to sales@stonetherapyjewelry.com.  Please note the majority of our orders will ship within one business day.  If your order has already shipped, then you may follow our return/refund procedure.

How do I get help if I need to?

If you need help at any time please email sales@stonetherapyjewelry.com.  All emails are answered the same day they are received.  If your email is received after 5:00pm Monday-Friday, your email will be responded to the following business day.

Do you accept international credit cards?

We do not accept international credit cards at this time.

Do you charge sales tax on any item?

We currently only charge sales tax if the item is shipping to an address in the state of Florida.

How much will shipping be?

We ship UPS at a flat rate.  You pay the same rate regardless the size or weight of your order.

  • UPS Ground $12.95                   (5 to 7 business days)
  • UPS 2nd Day Air $16.95                   (2 to 3 business days)
  • UPS Priority Overnight $28.95                   (1 business day)

How will the jewelry be packaged?

Our jewelry is neatly packaged in a drawstring organza bag nestled in quality shipping boxes.

Can I expedite my shipping?

Yes.  We offer the ability to select UPS 2nd Day Air and Priority Overnight.

When will my order ship?

The majority of our orders are usually shipped by the next business day.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped you will receive your tracking number via email.

Will I have to sign for my order?

What is “Sterling Silver”

Sterling Silver is an alloy consisting of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% other metals (Usually copper).  Fine silver alone is too soft and too easily damaged to be used as jewelry.

All silver items listed on this website are .925 sterling silver.

What are “Plated” items?

Our plated items are .925 sterling silver finished in a different metal, giving it a new finished look.  For instance our 14 karat gold-plated jewelry consists of a base of sterling silver with 14 karat gold plating.  This offers the look of gold at an affordable price.

What is the best way to clean my jewelry?

Sterling Silver is susceptible to tarnish.  This is a reaction of the metal with chemicals in the air.  Frequently polishing your jewelry with a polishing cloth or periodically washing with a mild dish soap in warm water will help minimize tarnish.  Be sure to rinse well and completely dry before storing the  jewelry.

How to store sterling silver?

Sterling silver jewelry should be stored properly to minimize tarnishing.  It can be stored in a case with desiccated silica gel which absorbs the humidity in the air.  Covering jewelry with a jeweler’s cloth will also help.  Sealing the jewelry in polyethylene bags helps reduce tarnish as well.

Is the jewelry water proof?

Sterling silver is not water proof and must be dried completely if washed.  Whenever possible also minimize exposure to harsh chemicals from chlorine, cosmetics, hairspray and perfume.

What are organic gemstones?

Organic gemstones are produced by living organisms, such as pearl, coral and amber.

What are inorganic gemstones?

Inorganic gemstones are composed of and arise from minerals, such as quartz, moonstone, and labradorite.

What are synthetic gemstones?

Synthetic gemstones are those that are grown in a laboratory.

What does “faceted” mean?

Faceted means the stone is cut with angles to make it reflect light better to make it more attractive.

What are rough cut precious gemstones?

Our rough cut precious gemstones go through a chemical process to even and enhance their color, developing their natural characteristics.  There is less emphasis on extensive cutting and polishing the stone so the stone will have a more organic look with natural variations.  This offers a very affordable option to wearing the 100% genuine precious stones, such as emeralds, rubies, and sapphires.

What does “reconstituted turquoise” mean?

Reconstituted turquoise is a mix of real turquoise with resins and dyes.

What does “rutilated Quartz” mean?

A rutilated quartz stone is a quartz stone that contains mineral inclusions

What does “cultured” fresh water pearl mean?

Cultured freshwater pearls are pearls that are farmed and created using freshwater mussels.

What is Vermeil?

Vermeil refers to jewelry that is made of sterling silver and plated with a layer of gold.  The piece has to be coated with gold that is at least 10 karats pure.  The thickness of the gold layer has to be at least 2.5 microns.
